The Webbs' Great American Adventure
July 18, 2010

I quickly made the decision shortly after leaving Utah that if I ever had to leave the state of Kentucky, which I NEVER plan to do, that Colorado would be the only other state in America where I would want to live. I really fell in love with Colorado. I think it has to do with the color green. Everytime I travel, I'm always ready to get back to the green, green grass, or bluegrass, of Kentucky.

Colorado had a great mixture of mountains, streams, rivers, trees and green grass. The elevation gave me a headache when we drove up to Rocky Mountain National Park, but I wasn't about to turn around and go back, because you never know when you'll get back to a place like that.

Today was a long day as we made it over 600 miles from Denver to Kansas City. In some ways it seems like we've been gone forever, and in other ways it seems like we just left Stanton yesterday. We'll visit Kansas City and St. Louis the next couple of days, and then head back to Kentucky and the Eastern Time Zone.

I thought this was really cool in Denver, until we went up into the Rocky Mountian National Park and found towns that were two miles above sea level.

This is a new brand of beer that Coors hasn't released yet
called Batch 19. A little dark, but not bad.
