December 2009 The Webbs 2009 And I can't forget the 6th member of our family, Flopsy, our lop-earred rabbit. For those of you teachers out there, yes, we named her from the play "Peter Rabbit." Nolan and I both had surgery, two weeks apart in the summer. He had a bone spur on his wrist, and I had a double hernia. Makes you wonder how a guy can get a hernia from pushing the shutter button on a camera, but I managed to get not one, but two, from moving railroad ties. I went to church camp with the kids at Camp Burnamwood in Estill County in August, and we celebrated Laura's 6th birthday a few days later. We were back visiting Washington D.C. in October. And in November we hosted a photography friend from Estonia, in Eastern Europe, named Kerly Ilves. Later that month, Nolan was with me when I took a 160-Class buck during deer season in November. It's been a great year. I thank the Lord every night, for what he has given me and my family. -30-
