The Wooden
Hat Man: January 25, 2008
I photographed
Chris Ramsey making his
world-famous wooden hats in Somerset,
for American Profile Magazine. My Dad
went along with me and got to try on
some hats and take a few pictures
of his own.
Ramsey uses a lathe to turn and
shape the wood. He then uses a light
bulb to check the thickness of the wood.
I think I broke nose on this shot.
Dad got to try on some of Ramsey's wooden hats.
