Cincinnati's Opening Day: March 31, 2008
My former roommate and newspaper guru, Tom Marshall,
and I ventured north to watch the Red's opening day
of baseball. We walked in during a downpour, but the
game finally got underway an hour later.

I always park on the Covington side and walk
across the singing bridge.

42,000 fans crammed into the
corridors during the rain.

The annual flag day turned into a mostly
disrespectful flag day.

Let the game begin!

What a view!

Tom and I sat at the very top of the stadium.
That's the price you pay for opening day.
