First Deer: December 28, 2008
Nolan
took his first deer during this weekend's youth hunt. He was a
really good hunter during the whole process. He spotted the doe way off in
a field,
then made a 300-yard shot with a .243 rifle right before dusk, and then tracked
the
doe in the woods after dark with a flash light. I told him he may never be
that lucky ever again.
