Baseball Rats: May 7, 2007
I try to be a good Daddy and expose my kids to
some of the cool things that I get to experience
as a photographer. Nolan and Cameron got to hang out
with me at Applebees Park while I photographed the
baseball version of the All-A Classic for Touchstone Energy.

After chasing foul balls all night,
they finally made it to the field as
Owensboro Catholic celbrates their
championship in the background.

I'm not sure if Cam is a seasoned scout here,
or just really interested in the game.
Rick Pitino used to talk about gym-rats,
kids who spend all their time practicing
in the gym. Cameron has the mentality
to be my diamond-rat.

Nolan is my techy. He spent all night
in the press box, hanging out with the
jumbotron cameraman and the official scorer.
Nolan said, "Daddy, there is a man up in the box
that writes down ever pitch, strike or ball."

Cameron danced to the Applebees Park
music in between innings.
